Had a fantastic day learning about my camera at WWT London –  I learnt useful stuff from a great teacher. Nikki, July 2017

Thanks for yesterday Iain. The days with you just get better and better. I learnt so much about my new camera yesterday. I went back after you left and didn’t leave until 7pm! Had great fun. Can’t wait to go back and get more practice with what I learnt. Sandra, May 2017

Thank you for a wonderful day in the reserves, it was pure magic. Peter, November 2016

Thanks so much for a great day, so enlightening and hugely useful. I’d love to join you again to photograph water voles. Helen, April 2016

A magical day which I would not have missed for anything. A bittern flew across the path in front of us, herons flew to and from nests in reed beds, hundreds of lapwings flew in at dusk and, climactically, a million or so starlings flew to roost in a reed bed just a few metres away from us. You couldn’t have planned the  experience of a lifetime better! Thank you so much. Gil, Feb 2016

Thank you for an extremely enjoyable day in Somerset with the starlings. As a fair-weather walker, to have so much fun on such a grey day in december is a testament to your interesting guiding.   I really think the time has come for a book about wildlife on the compost heap!  Thanks again, Lesley, Jan 2016

Thank you so much for the Water Vole day. I really enjoyed it – at least as much as, if not even more than, the starling days and that’s saying something! Sandra, June 2015

Many thanks for the great day on Friday – I did manage to get at least one photo of our elusive Water Voles. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and learned a lot so thanks for that.  It also inspired the whole family to get out lots this weekend.  Mark, May 2015

Many many thanks for a great day watching Water Voles – such a privilege to be able to sit and watch them, and to be able to get so close. Its the first time I have sat and observed wildlife for so long, in this country and the time just flew by.  A thoroughly enjoyable day.  I’m now going to be experimenting more with exposure compensation! Tessa, April 2015

Thanks for all of your help at the photography workshop at the London wetlands, it was really interesting and your insights and tips were really helpful. Rachel, April 2015

Fab photography course at WWT Slimbridge thank you. I absolutely loved it. Thanks for all your help. Jemela, September 2014

Thank you so much for the wonderful Photography Course last week.  I enjoyed it enormously and learned a huge amount both about my camera and its settings and also about making better photographs.  I particularly appreciated that you didn’t roll your eyes in despair at the ridiculous settings I had set on my camera! I hope very much to do another of your courses.  Thank you again for inspiring me. Susan, September 2014

A hugely useful and enjoyable day and I’m very excited about doing more photography.  Alison, September 2014

It was a most enjoyable, well run and informative course that you ran last Friday. I learned a lot from it, particularly about using some of the important and helpful features on my Canon SLDR camera.  John, September 2014

Thank you so much for our class today. You were not only inspiring but easy to follow and understand. We feel so motivated to continue exploring the world of wild life photography, Sandra, January 2014

A most enjoyable day, with a good group of like-minded people. Iain is very knowledgeable. Angie, April 2013

Wonderful combination of wildlife and technical advice. Perfect day. Amanda, April 2013

Thank you so much for today, my daughter and I really enjoyed it and learnt a huge amount – the session was spot on, the right balance of instruction and practice. My daughter has vision in only one eye and struggles to see distance. This was actually a great way for her to enjoy and appreciate the wildlife. Being able to photograph the birds and then zoom in close on the camera display and then the laptop has been brilliant. Jill April 2013

Thanks for all your encouragement about my photos. One day, I’m going to send you something really stunning (well, by my standards!). You’ve really re-awakened my enthusiasm for bird-watching and photography. I’m itching to get out with my camera all the time! Sandra March 2013

Just to say big thanks from both me and Glyn for a really wonderful day yesterday. Despite the cold we were impressed with the huge range of wildlife we managed to see and hear and will definitely be revisiting Somerset over the different seasons. Rosemary February 2013
